<image:title>Our Equine Partners - Lumi, the Wonder Foal</image:title>
<image:caption>In the middle of the night on March 13th, 2021, our number one therapy horse, Nina, delivered a huge and healthy foal! She was very light in color and brought a new light to our barn, so we named her Lumos, and we call her 'Lumi' for short. She is an absolute joy and it's not surprising to find Nina is a very good momma. We've had many visitors so she's been getting a lot of social time with kids and adults. She loves scratches all over, and tends to just follow humans around. As this was not part of the BGTRC 'plan', rather a welcomed blessing after a purchase, Lumi will be weaning in mid-September and joining a beautiful horse ranch in Willow where she will find her own job with many kids and grandkids to spend time with. It will be a mix of emotions to see her go, and we look forward to hearing about her life's work with her new family.</image:caption>

      <image:title>What we do - Equicizer</image:title>
<image:caption>Coming soon, an Equicizer for BGTRC! Creator and award-winning jockey, Frankie Lovato Jr. is building a mechanical horse for BGTRC. Custom design allowed our barn to place an order with Frankie earlier 2021 for a full size Equicizer to be delivered this summer. Our design was inspired by an amazing horse we miss everyday, Charlie. We look forward to partnering with Charlie again to help riders be introduced to concepts of grooming, tacking, mounting, riding, and dismounting. Confidence leads to clarity and the Equicizer helps many riders gain what they need before riding. The mechanical horse mimics the action of the therapy horse and helps to strengthen, stretch, and improve balance. Pictures to come soon of Charlie and our riders getting to know one another...Thank you Frankie and team!
